Morlaix - close to the Marina 19th to 21st July 2003 - Open all day from 9.30 a.m The activity: The proposed activity consists of small companies and craftsmen from 9 European Celtic areas (Wales, Galicia, Cornwall, Scotland, Asturias, Isle of Man; North Portugal, Ireland, Northern Ireland and Brittany) presenting and selling local products (food products, clothing, craft items etc) to Breton consumers and to tourists, over a period of 3 days in a marquee in the town centre of Morlaix. Context: This operation will be held at the time of the Celtic Watersports Festival which takes place every year in one of these 9 Celtic areas. In 2003, it is the Bay of Morlaix which hosts this Celtic Watersports Festival . Aims : To promote trade, local craftsmen and regional products; To allow small companies to market-test their products on the Breton and French market; To facilitate exchanges between companies of the Celtic countries with the aim of trade or partnership; To share the experiences of town centre animation between these 9 Celtic areas. Description: 3 days of selling in a marquee which will be located in the town centre of Morlaix and next to the marina; Organization of a meeting , as a non formal exchange between the companies and retailers from the Celtic areas and the area of Morlaix with the aim of establishing long-term partnerships.
